Lexant Advisors, Inc is pleased to announce that Alan Keate has joined its team as a Senior Advisor and Head of Auto Finance
Lexant Advisors is a boutique advisory firm raising debt and equity capital for fintechs, commercial credit, consumer credit and specialty lending providers.
Alan was most recently CEO of Texas Dealer Solutions, an indirect subprime auto finance company based in Austin, Texas, and a former client of Lexant Advisors.
Alan’s leadership responsibilities at TDS included arranging its credit facilities, identifying and executing strategic acquisitions to expand its finance offerings to BHPH dealers. Alan was successful in significantly growing its loan portfolio from a startup entity to over $85MM.

In joining Lexant Advisors, Alan brings deep operational experience and expertise to bring to clients in the auto lending industry, which Lexant views as a significant growth area of its practice.

About Alan Keate
Alan is an experienced finance executive with expertise in syndicated asset-backed lending and managing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures within the auto industry. He has successfully raised capital, structured financing deals, and navigated complex financial transactions.
Alan started his career in the equities market as an equity trader for American Express Financial Advisors where he obtained his Series 7 and 63 licenses before joining a boutique equity options trading firm.
Alan is recognized for his leadership skills and financial acumen. He has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to build and lead high-performing teams, establishing clear objectives and fostering a collaborative, accountable culture. His hands-on leadership style has been instrumental in driving organizational change and achieving operational excellence.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Alan is deeply committed to community service. He has a passion for giving back and has served in various volunteer roles, including overseeing 200 volunteers in West Africa and acting as the Treasurer for Dripping Springs Pop Warner Football. He is also a Lifetime Member of the Dallas Safari Club.
Alan attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
